Talking “story” is an important cultural process that must take place before any business transaction happens. It is important to get to know the person you are dealing with and talking story is the way we do it. It is a way we share our selves with one another. You will always find someone wanting to ‘talk story’ with you here!
In 2013 my partner and I came to Hawai‘i on a business trip and fell in love with the people and the land of the Big Island, specifically the Hawai‘i district. Spanning an area larger than O‘ahu, Puna contains some of the most stunning and diverse land in Hawai‘i. From the lava plains in Volcano National Park to the rain forests of upper Puna and the coastline along the famed Red Road. We toured the entire Island, but our hearts kept being drawn back to the Puna district. In 2015 we purchased our home in Hawaiian Paradise Park and went back to the mainland to get ready to move.We landed here permanently at the end of 2017. We continue to be amazed and feel privileged to live in this magical land. Hawaiian Paradise Park, or as we locals like to call it, HPP, is a wonderful neighborhood to live in. Owners, families, singles, extended families, vacationers, and long-term renters all call Hawaiian Paradise Park home.
